About Us
Hi, I'm Dr. Alexander, the Founder of Hugterra
I grew up in a rural area near Portland, Oregon. My parents owned a farm, so from a young age, I was always helping them out. My father wanted me to continue working on the farm when I grew up, but I wanted to become a doctor more than anything else, so I began studying medicine.
A Dream Come True
Long story short - I worked very hard, and was accepted to study at the Oregon Health & Science University (their acceptance rate is 2.28%), and after finishing my studies, I worked as a neurologist at the OHSU Hospital for almost 20 years, becoming a leading specialist in the state.
Sharing My Experience
What was bothering me was the fact that I knew my experience can prove itself extremely valuable to people all around the world, but because I only have 24 hours a day, I was able to help a small number of patients each day, I knew I can help more people, and I wanted to do it.
Founding Hugterra™
I spent months researching and developing the first product that would combine my 20+ years of experience in 1 device.
Finally, after countless prototypes and tests, I had created the Hugterra Massager.
Today, Hugterra™ is a thriving brand, with a loyal following of customers who swear by our innovative massager. And while I may have started the company as a solution to my wife's neck issues, I'm thrilled to know that my product has made the necks, and lives of countless others significantly better.
